The non-contact thermometer combines the ease of use of both non-contact and tactile measurement. The sensitive sensor in combination with an innovative optics system captures twice as much heat emitted by the human body than traditional forehead thermometers. The energy is then converted into a clinically accurate temperature reading. In non-contact mode, the proximity sensor shows the correct position of the thermometer to make the measurement as accurate as possible.
